Medium: hand embroidery

“Nurturing Essence” is a textile-based artwork that brings together intricate hand embroidery, beadwork, and couching techniques, created as a sculptural wall piece for a residential setting.

The composition draws from the form of Kamadhenu, the sacred, nurturing figure often associated with abundance and care. The presence of the calf alongside reinforces this sense of sustenance and continuity.

 Layers of thread, beads, and textured elements come together to build a surface that is both detailed and tactile, drawing from traditional craft practices while maintaining a contemporary sensibility.
