Nature has always been a source of inspiration and food for my soul. In my patchwork and embroidered paintings, as I’d like to call them, I always incorporate patterns, textures, shapes and forms derived from natural elements. This series, completed over a period of three years, has about 90+ artworks. I believe in slow and conscious art and found that embroidery was calming to my mind. My training as an artist and designer has helped me actively look at composition and colour in a way that is not only aesthetic but brings out the best qualities of the subject itself.
